Frederick Douglass Study Group

  • First Presbyterian Church of Easton 333 Spring Garden Street Easton, PA, 18042 United States (map)

One way to celebrate Black History Month is to grow in understanding and compassion. Several copies of the Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave, have been donated to the Church. This is the earliest version of Douglass' autobiography published only seven years after his escape to freedom. There will be a discussion on the book led by Rick Taylor at the church on Thursday, February 27 at 3:00pm in the Millheim Room. Those interested may pick up a free copy in the church office. Do encourage your interested friends to join us.
